One of Vice President Joe Biden's assigned duties is to monitor the Recovery Act so over the past couple of weeks he has been making telephone calls to governors and mayors across the country to follow up on how the stimulus fund projects are coming along. Today, he spoke to Lafayette Parish-President Mayor Joey Durel. Details of the conversation weren't released in the Los Angeles Times article, but it probably had something to do with this list of projects that Lafayette plans on doing with their share of the money.Photo by: World Economic Forum
