Citadel Broadcasting group of radio stations (KSMB, KXKC, KNEK, KRRQ) has a new leader sitting in the General Manager chair. Well, technically not new...As The Independent reported back in April, longtime General Manager Mary Galyean and the company parted ways and today the man who's place Galyean took 10 years ago is back. Charles H. Wood, who was the General Manager of KSMB until 1998, has for the past several years been employed as the General Sales Manager for competeing group Regent Broadcasting, (stations include KTDY, KPEL, and KMDL).If all this is makes your head spin, hold on to your hat....the media management game is probably not over yet as Regent now has an opening to fill and KLFY has some brand new owners.
