On Monday, August 10, InfantSEE will be offering free infant eye screenings at the Mall of Acadiana from 9am - 5pm.  The no cost vision and eye health screenings will be offered to any child ages 6months to 1 year.  InfantSEE is a public health program designed to ensure that eye and vision screenings become an integral part of infant wellness care to improve a child's quality of life.  Under this program, optometrists provide a free comprehensive eye and vision assessment within the first year of life regardless of a family's income or access to insurance coverage.
