Thousands of Louisiana residents participated in a state funded program to combat tobacco addiction last month. Zamp Bio News ran this article today reporting on Louisiana's Department of Health and Hospitals Tobacco Control program. U.S . Dept. of Health and Human services data shows that all commercially available forms of nicotine replacement therapy are effective in stopping smoking, and double the smokers odds of quitting.
