Want to be a Professional Hockey Player?

The Louisiana Icegators will hold an open tryout camp at the Blackham Coliseum on October 9-11 and for $200 you too could try out for the team. All players interested in attending will be required to register through the IceGators website at www.icegators.com by the 1st of October. Players selected from the open camp will be invited to attend the main camp beginning October 12th. Camp attendees will be required to bring their own equipment, including sticks and will have the option of staying at the team’s host hotel at their own expense for a rate of $70.00 per night, double occupancy. Players will be supplied meals and transportation to and from the arena on a daily basis. Camp registration is $200 and includes two 2 hour sessions on Friday and Saturday and one 2 hour session on Sunday. Minimum age for all camp attendees will be 20 years of age as of October 1st 2009.

The GatorGirls tryout however appears to be free. They announce on their Twitter that tryouts for the dance team will be at Grant Street Dance hall on Sunday July 26 at 10:00 am.
