America's Most Wanted Fugitive Captured

KLFY has a video report on their website about the capture of James Francis, who allegedly shot the owner of Food World convenience store on S. Pierce Street in Lafayette after an arguement escalated. Francis was featured on the TV show America's Most Wanted on June 13 and according to the story, he was captured in a hotel in North Houston after an America's Most Wanted viewer called in a tip. You can see our original story here.

Also while poking around the America's Most Wanted website, there's a couple of more Louisiana fugitives at large to watch out for. Keep your eyes open for this guy wanted on child porn charges in Lafayette, this guy wanted for homicide in Duson, this guy wanted for murder in Jennings, or this guy wanted for murder possibly located in Grand Isle.
