You won't need a license to fish this weekend in Louisiana. The state is waiving it's requirement for fishermen (or fisherwomen) 16 years or older to possess a Louisiana fishing license on June 6 and 7 only. Also, the Office of State Parks is waiving it's day-use charge on all State Parks on June 6. Take the family out fishing this weekend, or just read about it here, in the air conditioned comfort of your easy chair. Pass me those chips.

Woohoo! Free Fishin'
