We're in the Wrong Business

The new revenue report for state licensed casinos came out today and while revenues are down from a year ago, Louisiana casinos' take was 11% greater in May than April. On a whole, state casinos took in $224.6 million in May. L'auberge du Lac in Lake Charles leads the list with reported revenues of $30.1 million. Evangeline Downs reports $9.6 million. The total does not include land based casinos on reservations like Cypress Bayou Casino or Coushatta Casino Resort as they are not required by the state to report earnings.
