Richard Burgess from The Advocate reports that the Hilton Garden Inn (on Congress across from the Cajundome) had some new owners least for a little while. The property was sold at a tax sale last month for $8070. The original owners say that they inadvertently missed the tax bill and notice of sale but quickly paid the bill as soon as they discovered the error. They insist it was a mistake and that the hotel is doing fine. The whole article appears here.
