The Daily Advertiser is reporting that Lafayette's Restaurant on Kaliste Saloom will serve their last meal this Friday at lunch. Apparently they sold the building and it will be converted into medical offices. The statement on the Lafayette's Restaurant website says: "Lafayette's will be closing it's doors Friday June 19th, 2009 after a decade of serving Acadiana. We thank all of our customers, staff, suppliers and friends for making Lafayette's a dream come true for us and we hope that you will wish us well in our future endeavors."
