OK, I have no real feelings about the newly crowned Miss Louisiana Kathrine Putnam. In fact, with apologies to Ms. Putnam and the other contestants, I find the concept of beauty pageants to be antiquated, and more than a little creepy. But, dang, this photograph of Ms. Putnam is so iconic, I just had to run it. Weirder still, I found this story on Nhatkytimes.in news from India. Try as I might, I could not find a credit for the photographer. Long live the Queen, may she rule in good health and humor.

I Liked The Picture
