To Helmet Or Not To Helmet
The House passed a bill that would repeal the state's law requiring motorcyclists to wear a helmet while riding. The bill moves on to the Senate which previously killed a similar bill in an earlier session. So, if you're keeping score, the bill has the support of Gov. Jindal, and the House, but not the Senate, nor of former Gov. Blanco who had supported the repeal of an earlier law allowing riders to go sans helmet. Not too confusing. Figure it out here, from this article in Clutch and Chrome.
