Although he is best known as a Chicago Blues legend, Lonnie Brooks grew up in Dubuisson, Louisiana, just north of Washington. Brooks grew up listening to Cajun music, as well as his Grandfather's banjo playing and later joined Clifton Chenier's band before striking out on his own. He performs here with his son Wayne.
