Weekend O' Fun @ The Moon

The Blue Moon Saloon has a stellar line up of music this week. Starts tonight with American Aquarium, big ol' Johnny Cougar style roots rock out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Friday brings one of my personal favorites, Dave Gonzalez's Stone River Boys. You may know Gonzalez from his years with rockabilly giants The Paladins, and later with the country-soul group The Hacienda Brothers. If you ever had the pleasure of catching one of these bands, you know that Gonzalez is one of the best roots guitar players going. And I don't just throw that title around...he really is amazing. If that wasn't enough, sharing the bill will be Bonsoir Catin, and it's their CD release party. Saturday, has the big man, Chubby Carrier throwing down the zydeco all night, bringing you to Sunday, when Buckwheat Zydeco, and
Lil Buck Senegal will wring you out, and make you cry uncle. Dang! That's one hell of a weekend of music!
