Ultoday.com posted the news that Charles Richard won the "Platinum Best of the Show - The Aurora Awards" in the recent International Competition Honoring Excellence in the Film and Video Industries for his LPB documentary Louisiana Story: The Reverse Angle. Richard was quoted "I am humbled by this award. It is a great recognition for the University, because so many Humanites scholars contributed to this LEH project. Folklorists Barry Ancelet and John Laudun both participated as on-film interviewees, and Carl Brasseaux served as the project evaluator for LEH, who funded the film."
