Recycled Materials are Art for a Good Cause

A new exhibit will open this Saturday in the Side Gallery at the Acadiana Center for the Arts. The Art of Re-Use: Works From the Bizzuka Reuseum Artist Collective is a new exhibit that will open this Saturday in the Side Gallery of the Acadiana Center for the Arts. Last summer the Children's Museum of Acadiana invited artists to create and donate art incorporating reused or salvaged materials to be shown and sold to benefit the Children’s Museum of Aacadina. Their creations now form the body of the exhibit. Local artists have contributed a wide array of media, forming a creative, innovative, beautiful and surprising collection. Works of The Art of Re-Use exhibit are being sold to benefit the arts and education programs of the Children's Museum of Acadiana.
