Now You'll Have More Time To Spend With The Daily Meaux

KATC has a report citing U.S. Labor Dept. figures that show Louisiana had the nation's second highest rate of newly laid off workers. Louisiana posted 809 new claims for unemployment benefits, ranking only behind Connecticut's 816. That was followed by Tennessee, Arizona and Nebraska. The largest decreases in first-time claims were posted in Florida, Illinois, Michigan, California and Texas. More here.
