Tax Amensty = Big Windfall

I guess it's safe to say the state is pleased with the Tax Amnesty program. In the 2 weeks since we first mentioned the Louisiana Tax Amnesty program, a program that forgives interest and penalties on back taxes owed, the state has raked in over $1/2 million. KATC reports that $545,000 has been collected so far.
