Well Leak in Gueydan May Cause Cancer

KLFY has a report that an Oklahoma based oil company is doing some work in Gueydan and one of their saltwater injection wells has sprung a leak. Residents in the area and a chemist investigating the well believe that some of the waste that is leaking can cause cancer, but an official with Toas Energy, which is waiting on permit approval to put in their own injection well, say there is no link between salt water injection wells and cancer.....imagine that.
