The New Windy City

As we reported back in May, the Town of Washington is hoping to build a wind turbine so they can bury their power lines and help supply energy to it's residents. Mayor Pitre has been a driving force in moving the project along in Washington and now Abbeville is getting in the game. According to The Advocate, Abbeville is trying to come up with a way to put a wind turbine in Vermilion Bay to help power their town as well.
