OK so, you take the denominator, and then go to the back of the book to the logarithm chart, carry the one, put an x in there...Why would I do the math when Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight.com actually enjoys doing it? The statistical wizard came up with a formula to measure each Governor's popularity in their own state. Turns out Louisiana's Bobby Jindal is doing quite well in the popularity department.
