We're In The News Again

Well, I suppose it's not much of a surprise that former congressman William Jefferson was convicted yesterday. Being caught on video accepting a suitcase full of cash, and then having said cash found in your freezer three days later can lead to that type of thing. The real damage is to the reputation of Louisiana government, reinforcing the image of a political system rife with corruption.
