Follow-Ups

A few follow-ups to stories we've done lately:

First up: the naked burglar in Slidell has been caught (phew). The Times-Picayune has a complete report but apparently the guy was from Luling and wasn't completely sure how he ended up in Slidell but thinks he may had driven his girlfriends car, which has yet to be found. He admitted to having had several beers and pills that night before the break-in.

A little more information on the BeauSoleil House Text contest: it's for a "People's Choice" Award so text in. Last we checked, Team BeauSoleil was in 5th place (out of 20). Go Team!

And finally, Secretariat has wrapped filming at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky so they are on their way. Remember, they were scoping out the Delta Grand and Palace Cafe in Opelousas and will, of course, be at the old Evangeline Downs. Prejeans Restaurant always attracts celebrities that may be passing through so there's a couple of places to keep an eye on if you're looking to see some stars. WAFB has that story.
