The Eunice News made some National News recently. Wednesday night MSNBC's Keith Olbermann declared Governor Bobby Jindal as that night's 'Worst Person in the World' and cited this story in the Eunice News. According to the report, Jindal persuaded state Attorney General Buddy Caldwell to come on board the Health Care reform lawsuit by making a deal with him not to cut state jobs from his department. Caldwell originally opposed the lawsuit claiming it was frivolous but then turned on a dime and announced that he supported it. The Governor's Office has responded that there is "absolutely no truth" to the claim.
