Let's See Now, Where Was I?

Hey folks. I may or may not have fallen asleep at the computer recently. The clues are all there. The Qwerty imprint across my face, the drool....so much drool. Apparently, Thanksgiving is over. The Saints are 12 and 0. Wha? And we're in the home stretch of '09. Now, that I've rested and stretched (the stretching is so important), it's time for the sprint to the finish. Then '10 comes around and the whole thing starts again....and that's the good-case scenario. At any rate, please excuse my absence. Now, I'm off in search of Nutria news, coastal erosion stories, and bikini bandits. Those dang bandits spoiled me.

  1. Ahhh ... John, we hardly knew ye! if only he'd stayed in Track & Field, he'd still be with us. Fatter, slower and, most likely, three wars less jingoistic. Now, just how this photo illustrates your blog entry has me flummoxed ... and I like it!
    Welcome back, Grasshopper!

  2. It's suppose to illustrate a fatter, slower Me sprinting to the finish line of the year we call 2009. I had forgotten about his Jingoistic tendencies. But I do love the chocolate covered doughnuts.....the true breakfast of champions!

  3. Welcome back! Reading the 'Meaux is part of my morning coffee ritual. You were missed.

  4. Thanks Dave. It's nice to be missed. Actually, unexplained absences are pretty nice too. But I do respect a good ritual, especially when coffee is involved. So, ever forward with TDM! Thanks.
